I am a 55 year old retired Texas History teacher (28 years) and an avid cyclist (28 years) who lives in McAllen, Texas. Living in south Texas enables me to ride my bike almost any day of the year. I spend my retirement days doing as little or as much as I want in building wooden ship models or ship related dioramas. I established my website (www.guzmanshipmodels.com) in Feb. 2007 and have been contacted my scores of people concerning my work. I feel very blessed to have time and health to do the things I always wanted to do, I have been retired for 3 years now (writing this in March 2008) and it has been the most enjoyable time in my entire life.
