Working to keep up with the new kit releases, Kenny Loup of Gator’s Masks and More has been burning the midnight oil digitizing artwork for a host of ship camouflage masks.
Gator’s new masks include a squadron of battlewagon offerings and the camouflage measure for one of the US Navy’s World War II carriers.
First up is the HMS Warspite’s geometric camouflage from 1942 giving the modeler an alternative to the camouflage shown in Academy’s 1/350 kit. For those of you that build 1/700, this is also available for White Ensign’s 1/700 kit.
Next up in the big gun category is the camouflage patterns for Regia Marina’s Vittorio Veneto class battleships Vittorio Veneto, Littorio and Roma. For the Vittorio Veneto, Gator’s offers the camouflage patters for the 1941 an 1943 fit. The camouflage for the Littorio includes the 1941 and later war patterns. The camouflage patter for the Roma is from 1943. The red and white stripe deck pattern is also included in with all models.
Staying with the Axis Powers, the camouflage for the KM Bismarck is also available complete with the swastika deck markings for those customers outside of Germany.
And finally, Gator is also offering the Measure 12 Modified camouflage pattern for the USS Wasp CV-7.
Prices for the battleship and aircraft carrier camouflage patterns are $7.00 for 1/700 and $15.00 for 1/350.
