Lela Press is a French publisher that produces magazines and books on the subject of naval and air power history. Their latest is a book of the German destroyers of the Second World War.
At the outbreak of the Second World War Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine had 21 destroyers in service. These vessels - comprising 3 classes (Type 34, 34A and 36) - had all been built in the 1930s, making them modern vessels. A further 20 were brought into service during the war and more were captured from opposing navies, including the Italian Navy (Regia Marina) after the Italian Armistice with the Allies in 1943.

Listed as Number 21 of the 'Navires & Histoire des Marines du Monde', Zerstörer covers the genesis , technical characteristics and careers of those who were involved with the Kriegsmarine zerstörers. This book is comprised of 224 pages, over 500 photos, 40 drawings, 15 maps, and 11 color profiles.

This book can be ordered from the Lela Press website direct or through such retailers as L'Arsenal.

The book is listed for 52.00 EUR ($64.00 US) plus shipping.
