Thanks to Steve Joyce (blaster76) for calling our attention to this! Following up with another cold war carrier, Merit lists this kit for a June 2015 release!

The last pre nuclear carrier, the JFK was a unique class of carrier (a Kitty Hawk variant) and served for 40 years before being decommissioned in 2007.
