NEWS in from the boggy swamps of Louisiana, Kenny (Gator) Loup of Gators Paint Mask sends us an announcement of two new masks that he is offering for the PT Boat fans!
"Kenny (Gator) Loup is a Shipwrights member from Louisiana, who decided to apply his sign making skills to enhance his and our modeling experience. The result is a line of affordable, easy to use masks enabling you to paint your models with markings that look painted on, rather than decaled.
Each mask is made from a very thin vinyl that will minimize, or completely eliminate an edge to the painted marking. It is flexible to follow the model’s curves and lines. The adhesive is strong enough to stick good where you place it, yet can be lifted and moved for repositioning, if needed."

Gator now is offering two different camo patterns, in both 1/72 AND 1/35 scale.

USN PT BOAT MS 31-20L 3 COLOR
1/72 scale~$10.00 USD
1/35 Scale~$20.00 USD

USN PT BOAT MS 31-20L 2 COLOR
1/72 scale~$10.00 USD

Both of these mask sets and alot more are available now on the official company website, give em a try today!

I echo Skipper. I was already wondering if you could scale them down to 1/72 when I saw you sold that scale also. I'm also kind of thinking of doing a 1/72 PT, since I don't have room, on the shelf or in the wallet for the 1/35. Something maybe to go alongside the S-Boote? Of course this is after I finish all the other kits I've started, and whittle the stash down a bit.

Nice one Kenny. Cheers Al

The zebra is in the works for both scales. If someone wants to do it in 1/35, they'll have to back date to be accurate, or do a what if. Kenny
