Fujimi Models gave the model ship world a sneak peek at their latest 1/350 creation, the test shot of the IJN BB/CV Hybrid Ise There is not a lot of information at the time, but I think we all remember the last time Fujimi showed off a test shot. Enjoy the photos.

Eventhough I haven't been into the ship-genre for very long, I quickly fell in love with the IJN Ise .. I just love the ½ Battleship ½ Carrier design .... so this is a very, very, very great day for me ..... I can now die a happy man ... well once I've bought and built the kit, that is Actually I was just logging into the forum to tell the exact same news ... found it elsewhere. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fhappy.ap.teacup.com%2Fapplet%2Frunchickens%2Farchive&sl=ja&tl=en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 (scroll halfway down the page) ... it seems a 1/350 IJN Fubuki Class Destroyer is also on it's way!

Well poo-poo. I was hoping for a little air time. This is kit #2 on my all time want list. #1 is a Littorio class. With the Richeliu and the Repulse (#4 on the list) coming out this year, I will be going way over budget and will be spending years trying to get all the goodies and stuff I need to pt them together. I am now going to have to live another 20 years to get all I have accululated in my stash. #3 is a US cage mast BB and #5 is the Graf Spee.

These 350 releases are getting ridiculous... well, in 2 years my eldest is going to College, so I can convert her room to a ship display room

It certainly is a fantastic addition. The last photo is not of the hybrid, does anybody recognise it? Aoshima's Kongo maybe?

No, it's Fujimi's next release in the Kongo class: the Haruna.

Blaster, From your post can I infer that the Repulse will be released in plastic 1/350 later this year(ish)? News of any other WW2 "Atlantic/Med" theatre ships being released in 1/350 'styrene would be welcome TIA Tom

It's been a while since I've built a ship and this one looks great The Japanese warships of ww2 are a great subject and hope to see more in 1/350 scale
