Andy remarks on this model are as follows:
- The scale is apparently 1/250 but I feel it is more like 1/125;
- The kit goes together fairly well, with the only downside being the instructions, which are in places fairly vague;
- The rigging, while looking rather daunting on paper, is fairly easy to do;
- The sails are moulded very well considering they are injected plastic, even if they are out of scale;
- The ship was painted with Tamiya and Mr Color acrylics, and a wash of W+N burnt umber oils was used.

It would be nice if someone did a series of those type of ships. Phonecian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Viking etc all in the same scale. It would make a nice collection and as you say, the rigging isn't all that complicated (as say the HMS Victory) and the end result is a real nice colorful piece of ancient history you can display
