The Atlantic Convoy at SmallWarships SIG Stand
This Group Built started at ModelWarships and with members from the SmallWarships SIG was one of my great expectations!
And I have to say that the mentor of this display, Mike McCabe, didn't let me down on this. Although with some minor flaws, the display was very impressive, showing a percentage of a true convoy. The way the ships were deployed was as the real ones, with escorts on the edges and then cargo and finnaly, the most precious one, the tanker, in the middle.
With a lot of participants, the general effect was achieved - and now, let's think on a good idea for next years display.
Congratulations to all modelers that gave their time and changed the theme of the usual builts to make this awsome display!
NOTE: After the results of the competion was known, suddently there was a "rush" at these tables and a lot of non-warship modelers, at least in this scale, started to look with more care and discovering lots and lots of details - this was fun to see!

Rui, the model in image #31...any details of the kit, artist, etc? The water rolling off the sub is extremely well done!

Hi Mark
That's Guido Hopp's Revell 1/144 VII-C Uboot
Impressive indeed
That was the result of plus 30 hour editing the photos - the lighting conditions of the venue is very dim, and then we cannot take tripods inside the competition area (not that I had one, but I could borrow)
