Riverine Military Craft Campaign Wrap-up

  • Riverine Campaign Wrap-up
Another successful Campaign!
As all Campaigns, there were some guidelines for this one, where the purpose was to build a model or diorama with the theme Riverine Military Craft, Indochina/Vietnam.

As usual, little scale limitation was made, and there was an open gate for aircraft, helicopters and AFV's for this Campaign, considering the particulars of the battlefield.

Although the list of enlisted members was a good one, not that many finished the Campaign - I, for instance, was one of those who failed to end my project!
But, all the models that entered the finish gallery are very well done! From a trio of amazing Dioramas - two of them full of action and very dramatic, both in 1/35 scale to a more calm one, but even if it is in 1/144 scale we have to take our hats of, since it is fully scratchbuilt.
We had one armour and one aircraft entries, and I might had I was hoping more would enter, since these are the most "popular" models we see in events - more modelers interested in these??
A couple of PBR's and a LCSS finish this report of entries.
Enjoy this first Campaign Wrap-up Feature, much more will appear as soon as they finish.

Thank you to all that finished this Campaign successfully.
For those who didn't finish it for some particular reason, don't give up - surely there will be time to finish your project.

Hi guys! I think that this should be something to continue on future finished Campaigns... It is a good chance to see all the entries together, excellent, good and those not so good - we all had to start, right? The more the merrier - so get your hands back to the workbench and finish those models! Rui

I like seeing the finished group all together. Sure some might not have finished along the way, but that happens. This way everyone gets exposure for their builds, from novice all the way up to the scratch building masters. This is a much better wrap up than the regular post in the campaign thread and clicking the ribbons to everyone. BZ to all of those who finished!

Great idea to make a campaign wrap up. It was a joy to participate although the final turn out was a little disappointing. Very nice to have my model included in such impressive model company. I am mostly an armour modeller, but I am still looking forward to participate in future campaigns here on MSW. Right now I am finishing my "No guns allowed" entry and planning has started for the "Gator Navy" campaign.
