About Carl Musselman (CarlOmaha)

I just got back into building models in November 2007. Ships, this time. It has been about 8 years since I was actively modeling. Since I was a kid, I have built cars, planes, armor, ships, submarines, and wooden ship models. I am currently building a collection of 1/700 post WWII/Modern USN surf...

Very nice job I'm always amazed at the level of detail that can be done on ship models of this scale and your work is exceptional Bob

It is all about the sharing, isn't it? Model building isn't so lonely, as I remember it to have been, now with this Internet. Thank you for the compliments. I think I'm improving with each build. I'm am learning a whole lot from so many of you and I really enjoy seeing all of the models posted here. I just joined the local IPMS chapter a couple of months ago. There are only a few ship modelers in the club and so many of the members are awed at the detail that can be accomplished in 1/700. I have heard the airplane guys moan and groan when you mention 1/72 scale.
