USS Lexington (CV-2), nicknamed the "Gray Lady" or "Lady Lex," was an early aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. She was the lead ship of the Lexington class, though her sister ship Saratoga was commissioned a month earlier. She was also the fourth of five US Navy ships to carry the name "Lexington." Originally designed as a battlecruiser, she was converted into one of the Navy's first aircraft carriers during construction, entered service in 1928, and was sunk in 1942 at the Battle of the Coral Sea.

VERY nice. The two things that impressed me the most were the cockpit canopies and the weathering on the deck. I can't imagine the patience, not to mention the steady hand, that let you paint those canopy frames. The weathering on the deck looks just right to me, not too much and not too little.

I have to totally agree with Rodger. Those canopies were fantastic I can't do that in 350 let alone 700

Top notch work, as usual with Kostas! Apart from the mentioned points, I like what you have done to break the blue of the vessel... several hues and shades, make the ship more realistic. Details are very good, with some attention payed to little (yes, they are really tinny!) scenes, like the guys pushing the two Dauntless aircraft with the air breaks deployed, the box moving with the small tractor, and so on, and so on!
