This posting has been in place so long I didn't think it would ever get a comment! I didn't do anything special to this model, no aftermarket PE or anything. It turned out well, I think, mostly because it's a great kit and the painting turned out decent. I strongly recommend this kit. The parts are finely molded, the fits are excellent. The instructions are wonderful and give you lots of extra info about the ship that most kits don't provide.

Our attention isn't always very sharp Chuck, I missed this one first time it passed. Beautiful build of a very interesting ship. I was lucky enough to get a review sample of Kagero's excellent 3D book on the Tone. I have eyed the Tamiya model a couple times but the price is rather hefty Cheers, Julian
