33rd NE Model Ship Show and Conference

This year it was the USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild that sponsored the event. They are the largest model ship association on the East Coast hold their meetings overlooking Old Ironsides at the USS Constitution Museum. In addition to monthly meetings the Guild takes part in the annual meeting of model clubs from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They also attend the annual Salem Maritime Festival and the Antique & Classic Boat Festival, as well as the biennial Woods Hole Model Boat Show.

This year's turn out had some wonderful works, ranging from the ancient days of sale to the most modern ships of contemporary navies. 99 subjects were on official display that were comprised of wood and plastic builds that were static and some RC. A number of vendors were on hand, such as Blue Jacket Ship Crafters (Al Ross's CSS Alabama was there!)
