Other than the price what are the differences in the two Revell USS Constitution kits?

I don't know. The Revell Germany kit is a level 5 and the Revell USA is a level 3. Other than that, I don't see a difference in the kits from the web site.

Revell Germany's scale goes from 1 to 5 and Revell USA's scale goes from 1 to 3, so in both caes, this is at their top difficulty.
I believe it is the same plastic.
The instructions may be a bit different - more information. And the price is probably significantly different.

Some folks were dumping the USA version pretty chaep on ebay. If you are in the mood for a 96th scale Old Ironsides it might be a real good way to pick one up at a price that is ridiculously low. Shipping may cost you more than the kit

Blaster,
I have bought some kits on eBay.
But, what is the difference? The German webpage lists 1300 parts in the kit and the USA doe not list a number. Is the German more detailed? Or just the conversion from Euros to Dollars? In which case why would Revell import the same kit for twice the price?
