Hey all,
I thought I saw a topic once about how to get a fairly nice looking torpedo paint job. I can't seem to find it. I need some advice on how to paint the torpedos for my S-100.

Body of the torpedoes, Metallizer Burnt Metal (Testors), and the warheads with Metallizer Exhaust (Testors again). Once rubbed out, they'll actually look like unpainted steel...

Gunny,
I'm sorry to ask something so simple....but what do you mean by rubbed out? I paint the item, let it dry, then rub it with paper, cloth. ???????

These paints require buffing with a soft cloth, old tee shirt.

I prefer these 2 colors over the steel paint when I do my tank tracks
