Looked at the ship category and there looks to be a lot of bargains there. Some real nice stff too, not the usual dead dog stuff one expects

Like for example the Trumpeter 1/350 HMS Hood for only $69.99. That's really tempting except I keep hoping Hobby Lobby will carry her.

The retail cost of the Hood is somewhere in the vicinity of $145. Can't say if Hobby Lobby will do that one. My last trip they did have the North Carolina and the Missouri

The stores in our area also have the Trumpeter 1/350 Lexington, though I wish they'd carry the Sara. That's what is giving me hope. If they list it at about $120, which I've seen it sold for in other retail stores, then 40% off that makes her about $72, plus tax. Beats paying shipping, and I can open her up right away.

It seems that HObby Lobby typically runs a year or so behind what has been released. They may eventually get the Hood and the Sara. I remember seeing the Lex and one of the Essex classes as well as the other 2 battleships I mentioned.
