I noticed on the hobbyterra website that Alanger has a 1/72 scale type 23 u-boat for $35. If my memory serves me, the type 23 was a small coastal defence boat and thus the kit is probably not as large or complex as the Revell 1/72 u-boats on the market. Just curious, what are the specs on this boat?
BTW, they have a 1/350 typhoon class listed as well!

chuckster,
The 23's were coastal boats so they would be a bit smaller than the ocean boats but that doesn't mean the kits would have less parts or less work, just a smaller boat.
