I have used their PE sets on most of the 350 scale ships I have built. Directions ae pretty darn good much better than Gold Medal MOdels and they are close to half the price of WEM. I sure hope he is making a set for the upcoming Alabama and San Francisco

Nice to have a new vendor aboard. Can't comment on the ship's stuff, but I have used a lot of his 1/48th cockpit sets in my younger bi-plane building days to spice up a few old Aurora kits.

Welcome aboard Tom
Being a customer of Tom Modelworks, I can say two things:
- The PE Sets are great to excellent (at least the 1/700 ones);
- Online service is good, although there are some glitches in the paypal ordering service that need to be corrected, but with Tom's excellent communications, everything is solved very fast, and I must say that all the items I have bought from him, were always the fastest shipments that I got from US (ever, and I am in this for a long time!!)
Once again, Welcome Tom!

Toms PE sets are exceptional value for the money!!!
Toms is a wonderful fellow, he kindly supplied me with PE sets for my kits. Without his assistance it would have been hard to get my business of the ground.
Thanks Tom.
BTW, Tom and I will be at tables 1 thru 5 in Anaheim for the 2007 IPMS National Convention in August. Please stop by and visit with us!

Wouldn't have room for a stowaway on the trip out there would you? Kind of sucks to be interested in ships in landlocked Colorado, isn't it? Where abouts in the state are you located? One last question, why no sales within the state? Because of sales tax?

Hi Rodger,
I do not know how to do the Quote thing so I will just answer your questions.
Sorry but we will be flying to L.A.
Aurora, Colo.
The accountant charges more than it is worth to do the paper work to collect the state sales tax.
If you wish to purchase a kit contact Fred or Tom at Colpar Hobbies in Aurora. They can get them from me.

Quotes are easy. Left bracket, [, then the word quote, then right bracket,]. Then put what you want quoted. Then left bracket, /quote, then right bracket.
I was really kidding about stowing away, I can't afford the time off work right now, darn it.
My wife has a similar issue when she sells her cheesecakes here in Colorado Springs. She gives free shipping to locals, but her website insists on charging shipping anyway, and we can't afford a website programmer to do it right, yet.
Colpar is a great store. Next time I'm up there I'll look for your stuff.
