Any estimates on scale. Looking at size of aircraft, I would go with somewhere near 48th scale unless the person in the photo is a child, then it's 72. Any enlightenment?

Geeze Steve, you're obsessed. You see a model made out of Legos, half as big as a house, and you wonder about scale? Do you look at the Mona Lisa ad wonder who does a figure of her?

(In case you can't tell from the emoticons, just kidding.)

Does anybody do a figure of the Mona Lisa?
Wonder if he has the correct screws on her.
The ship, not ... well never mind....

$18,000 ???!!! I wonder if he is still married. The article didn't say how long he took to build it other than spending months purchasing and sorting through pieces. He could have built one a ot cheaper if he bought the fiberglass shell and scratchbuilt. That guy here in Dallas built that 72nd Nimitz and then sold it for something like $10k Well I guess you get more fame building it out of LEgo....especially in Gemany
