Ok The day so far has been kind. Got some great files from a friend for the Nagato (I told you I was excited). Gator Glue got here so I can test it a bit before I attempt to get Keith to sell it in his store. The monthly Squadron flyer came in, rarely buy anything, but I like to see what is new out there. I stopped by the local blockbuster on a whim and FINALLY (!) after 2 months "Letters from Iwo Jima" was on the shelf. Last but not least, when I opened my garage door I saw a baby lizard streak in. I managed to catch it and put it in the bushes by the front porch. I have had a family of lizards in my yard for years, but a group of feral cats had moved into the neighborhood and as I hadn't seen any lizards or toads lately assumed they were all eaten. So this week I've caught both a baby toad and lizard in my yard and I haven't seen the cats in 2 weeks..

I came home from work, turned on the computer, TV, and made coffee. Then had a power failure. Power was on and off several times for about a half hour. When it finally came back up to stay, only one leg was working, so only half the place had power, and naturally the stove and AC's were still out. Went to Post Office, finally got Rob's package in the mail, came home, watched a little of the local news. Emailed an editor, then went to bed. Woke up, other leg restored.
Tomorrows an exciting day, I get to drive 100 miles to meet an new friend. Another Medical Specialist.

Had a good trip to the doctors.... Still vertical, and breathing. Took a little side trip on the way home over to HobbyMasters in Red Bank. Ran into a guy I know for over 20 years, had a few laughs about the good old days, and good old boys. Left a balloon poorer picking up a few things. (Nothing ship related, unless a set of old Hudson and Allen Marine figure decals count).

I also heard a rumor of a certain member planking his 1/350th scale battleship, one plank at a time.
