I was in HoLo today, and those 1/350 scale ships, Tamiya Missouri, Trumpy North Carolina and Lexington. That Missouri was really calling to me, and this looks like a nice set to upgrade her, if I ever have the room.

Rodger:
I would highly recommend you picking this kit up during the next 40% or half off sale. A truely stupendous kit, You can opt for a Tom's or Gold Medal Models PE which is cheaper, but I think if I were to do this today I would opt for the Eduard set.

Very nice kit indeed! A lot of these parts would have been very welcome when I was doing my Missouri last year.
However I was struck by the contrast of putting a lot of this PE on some of the kit parts. Maybe it's just me, but given the significant improvement a lot of the resin replacement parts add, it seems like a waste to put the PE on some of the kit parts.
