I think I'm going to burn a CD of songs related to ships. I've thought of the following songs.

Sink the Bismarck: Johnny Horton
Sinking of the Reuben James: Woody Guthrie
PT 109: Jimmy Dean
Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald: Gordon Lightfoot
The Sloop John B: The Beach Boys
The Southern Cross: Crosby, Stills, Nash

a couple of obscure ones:
Dance Band on the Titanic" Harry Chapin
Lord Grenville: Al Stewart

So can anybody think of any others?

Welcome aboard Kelly. All entries welcome. Calypso is a good choice, I'm not familiar with the other Gordon Lightfoot song, but I'll look it up.
