Ahoy mates.
With the announcement that Model Master will discontinue their maritime colors, who else sells acrylic ship colors?
It would be awesome to see WEM do an acrylic version of their Color Coats.

Are they discontinuing the Poly S, aka Floquil? The last paints I bought for The Sullivans were labeled as Poly S on the label, but Testors website calls them Floquil. they had 5-N Navy Blue, Deck Blue, and weathered Deck Blue. I like these paints. If these go away I don't know what I'll do. I don't like enamels.

No Rodger. Model Masters Acryl has a marine color line too.

I guess my LHS hasn't stocked them. I agree I'd love to have WEM do their paints in acrylics, as I just can't use enamels.

I've always had to order mine. I guess they are just too obscure.

hey all,
I too am starting to horde the Model Master paints. I like them because of the easy clean up and also my wife becomes sick from the enamel fumes.
Lets start a list to get WEM to make acrylic's......

I'm an enamel guy , but I might make a suggestion. I've had to mix my colors as I generally use MM. I made a color matching card putting the colors on a nice white 3 x5 card. I would say do the same thing and mix what you need. Of course in the meantime I would also do what Frank is doing and get out there and buy up a stash. and check into the Polly S / Floquil line.
