I don’t know where to start, a busy weekend that is for sure. Of course it all started at o’dark early Friday morning when I ventured into my local Mal-Mart to stand in line like the rest of the idiots to buy things I really didn’t want to buy. But, I did survive and got everything on my list. Then the regular Friday visit to the chemo lab, only three more left. I then went to 2 more Wal-Marts, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, and finally Target to get my own present.

Back at home I spent Saturday working on my shed some more and ended up putting two of the wrong parts in the wrong place. That will teach me to use the Spanish directions. Sunday it rained all day, which is needed, and I did not too much other than watch John Wayne movies most of the day.

My wife did get three more of her bear jugs made and 14 were delivered to the gallery on Thursday. I got no kit making done again this weekend, but I did manage to add more to my stash.

Ahoy Shipmates

I got some bench time on the E-Boat. Added some minor fittings as I edge slowly towards putting some paint on it. I also sorted out the searchlight on top of the cabin roof.

I think I am still not to far of adding some paint.

Cheers

I was almost as devastatted at LSU's loss as Alabama's. LSU as the sec's only shot at keeping control ling the National championship. WIth all respect ot the others we are the best and the only reason the SEC doesn't win the national championship cosistently is because we whack each other

spent 90 % of weekend watchig football..vey little mdelling done

I spent Thursday afternoon and a good part of Friday fighting a backed up sewer line. My sewer tape couldn't unplug it, so I called the plummer. Cleaned some roots out of the line. Spent Saturday and Sunday recouping my wrenched back. I did get some work done on the Virginia.

No bench time this past weekend but I did do the Black Friday madness. Spent 8 hours in the Best buy line and didn't get the cheap desktop (for oldest son) that I was going for. Ended up getting a Laptop(great price), but it was an experience and I had no idea of the silliness that goes on in those lines.......around 2am a pair of Easter bunnies(people dressed as them....I hope) came down the line handing out candy.......very creepy. But I'll do it again next year...kind of fun.

We had knucklheads start lining up Wednesday afternoon. In fact about 50 or 60 of them lived in tents. It was cold down here, I can't imagine how cold it must have been up there. Well, I sure glad I'm not that nuts yet. I think I'll stick to on line buying and avoid black Friday like I've done for the past 15 years
