will take me a bit to start, need to finish the MSW comm first... I think I am still doing the SMS Emden (Dresden-class light cruiser), the revell kit (1:350)

I need to decide if I will add some AM/PE and which/how much.

I'm here Bruce. I've been extremely busy at work and we've also been moving out of out house. Trying to pack up 16 years worth of junk ain't fun.

I will propably regret this, as I allso planning to participate in the camouflage campain - but here goes:

I“m planning to build it right out of the box - only adding rigging and making a nicer base for it.

Cheers/Jan

I think I'll be building KomBrig's 1/700 HMS Iron Duke. Start time will depend when the doctor schedules my carpal tunnel surgery.

Wow Bruce, that's a lot of moving. This will be my second time, 1st time being out on my own. If it weren't for Hurricane Rita we would be moving now.

Hey James. I'm the commercial artist for our parish government. We've been getting slammed for the last two months with rather large projects. And there is more on the way!

hello all,
@James,
i am done moving.i have my house/acres to play/live on.
@Jan,
i have been looking at the ICM German Battleships,there was an article in Fine Scale magazine about weathering one of the ICM's ships.good choice for your build.
@Ken,
the company i worked for sent me around the country to "fix" the stores that were not doing well.i was the guy that fired and hired staff to get the stores going right.
after 30 years i decided to retire to the mountains and relax.
is there anything at all i can do for you when you have the surgery?all you have to do is ask and we will keep you in our prayers.
cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,

If you go back and look at all the MSW Scuttlebutts from last week and this week, you will notice that I have been featuring WW1 Naval related websites.

Almost time...everyone's in the trench, in full kit, bayonets fixed...the captain is fixated on his watch, the second hand ticking its way to zero hour...he raises the flare gun and brings the whistle to his lips....

More like war has broken out in Europe. England has yet to declare war and Admiral Sir Archibald Berkeley Milne and the Royal Navy Med Squadron are preparing to confront the SMS Goeben & Breslau.

You're right, Kenny. It's just that waiting for the start up to a campaign reminds me of getting ready to go 'over the top'.
