R.M.S. Mauretania ~ New Further Reading
A short while back we published Jim Baumann's Feature article, "Building the R.M.S. Mauretania, (1907-1935)" which contains much research attributed to Historian (and MSW Crew-mate), Eric Longo.

Eric has now written a very interesting additional piece entitled, "Farewell to the Tyne", which features information and many images that have not been previously published until this date of writing, on the subject of the Mauretania.

Take a journey over by clicking the link below, for a very informative and interesting read about this glorious liner...

In case you haven’t seen this, Jim Adams (goldenpony) has been sharing Navy lingo with his “Word of the Day” thread. This is a great and more times than not humorous look at the language of the US Navy.

Well, I will say my Monday word reflects my weekend. I was down 90% of the time and just felt rotten. Must be the darn flu.

I did finish my Sd.Kfz.265, but I did that Friday night.

Now time to get back onto my Forgotten Sisters ship.

I did some possible Gator Navy Campaign art work, check those out on the approval thread.

My wife went back to work today after being off since Dec 24th. I know she will be a worn out puppy tonight.

OK, having some difficulties and irratations here. I completed the Yukikaze over the weekend. I loaded it into my gallery. Then I tried to do a copy and pasted onto the official reporting thread and it was no-go. I don't have a clue on how it is done now obviously. Before you would right click on the picture hit copy, then go to where you awnted to post and hit the img button, then place the icon in the middle of that and hit paste and that was all there was to it. Can't figure it out now. So I did complete the campaign and the Yukikaze photo is in my gallery.

I'll be placing my order for the Nagato hopefully next week. just gotta see how this week goes. I am hired and processed at my new job, I just haven't started working for money yet. Should start in the next day or two

Hey guys. Very little modeling here. Most of the weekend was spent processing 68 Gator's Hobby Glue orders, and that was just domestic. By Sunday afternoon I was one tired gator. The oak trees are starting to bloom so here comes the sore throat.

later...Gator

Another "no modelling" week for me, but good news my hand/thumb stitches came off. I was lucky in that the angle of the cut (will spare you the gory details) was such that I did not slice off anything important, like a tendon. And no "you are on the cutting edge" jokes, heard them all! Hope to restart my plastic hacking this week....
