I’d like to offer my thanks to everyone who has helped me and replied to my barrage of questions. Your replies and answers have helped me tremendously and I sincerely appreciate the assistance.

I haven’t built a ship model in about 30 years and my return to naval models with the build of Italeri’s PT Boat has been fun, but somewhat frustrating. I can tell you almost anything about armor, but when it comes to naval, I’m clueless. And I spent 20 years in the US Navy!

This is a great site and I’m looking forward to continuing my second “naval” career with all of you.

Thanks a bunch,
Steve

Steve, it's nice to have a new, regular face in the forums, mate...we try to answer all questions, as quickly as possible, and give as much positive and constructive feedback as possible...we have a good bunch of guys here, alot of great knowledge and talent overall, and together, we're going to make this THE one stop ship modeling resource!
Cheers,
~Gunny

Keep in mind that a lot of us "older" members came to this site when ships was just one of the forums in Armorama. So most of us love to build tanks as well. Folks like Gary Beebee, Rui Matos, Rodger Cole, Mark Smith, Kenny Loup and myself kept the faith and got the site rolling and with our "way of doing business" , and have managed to attract a lot of other good folks . Our motto is to make it fun and to try to spearhead the knowledge and get it to you as quickly as possible.

I also give my heartfelt thanks .......It is the inspiration I gained here that has prompted me to buy the 1:350 Orel,Varyag , now the Mikasa with full upgrades! Until lately I have only done U boats, majoring in Biplanes and armour.
You guys are tops in my books, and I hope I can in return help someone else in here like you guys have helped (and continue to help) me.
