Looking good, you made some good solid progress.
I'm not sure if a flak would be mounted on a short trip vessel, definitely MG42's. Maybe a multiple MG mount for AA defense.

Everybody has said it, but I am going to as well, great progress!

As for any possible arms, I say either the 2cm or 3.7cm, but not any larger.

Hi guys, a few armament additions - nothing is written in stone and I might switch, add, or delete some things. The foward round thingie will hold a 2cm Haengelafette turret , with or without the turret sides and grenade screen tops. - Field mod.
I'll also add the ARV 60cm searchlight on top of the wheelhouse.
This is to be a confiscated Italian fishing boat turned into a coastal radio patrol boat so artistic license is being applied. The monastery/church and small fishing village with pier will also be incorporated.
Thanks for lookin - Glenn

Gunny, Jim, thanks guys. I'm really having fun with this.

What do you think about this ? : A darkish green hull and normal what you'd expect wheelhouse colors of a typical fishing vessel, [ not too bright - but not military ] and have a break up pattern grey, light grey, grey blue on the foward turret, the 60cm searchlight and the 3.7cm midship gun ?

Fantastically executed. I do 'like' it, I'm not sure I 'love' it yet. I'll hold that judgement till it's done and I can see it all.
Two itty bitty things, the ax blade cover I would remove or scratch a foil cover. The metal straps over the handle are great and make the molded on cover look out of place. The range finder should be placed on the deck, not the AA catwalk, too crowded.

Hi Scott, thanks, I have some foil for the blade holder. The range finder is just tossed on deck to show it, as I've said nothing is really written in stone yet. Everything is sub assemblies so I can move things around and possibly change locations but this arrangement I like the best.

So, make the boat look like a regular but try to hide the guns. Interesting idea, it might just work.

Glenn -

As always the details and workmanship are masterful. The whole concept is just fantastic and I think you've captured the essence of a 'Coastal Raider' in this. Think the idea of making it look outwardly 'somewhat' normal to a fishing boat is a good approach. Might allow it to get close enough to open up before true identity is revealed. Combining this with the 'monastery/church and fishing village' will be something to see. Will love watching this continue to develop.
