Anyone else notice the mock up of Hasegawa's 350th Akitsushima seaplane tender in issue 26 of Model Art. It's easy to pick out with the massive Mavis floatplane on the aft. Anyone have any added info on this future release?

Sounds like good news to me. I am up for anything in that scale. So, I look forward to hearing more about it.

Now that could be a very interesting kit.

It's a resin kit, according to what was released last year during the fall hobby show in Japan (IIRC).

Here's the scan, I can't read Japanese but it looks like it will be about $260... must be resin... but here's hoping that they will reissue it in plastic.

Scan taken from Issue 26 of Model art, and used strictly for discussion purposes.
