The Buraziru Maru is phonetic spelling of japanese kana into English, in English the ship name would be Brazil Maru, I believe a troopship of WW2

Umitaka ????????????????????????? I looked at my reference book and there is no mention of this one. So was this a "proposed" or a partially built (kinda like Dragon with all their recent releases of German never was tank kits) or what?

UMITAKA is the kun-yomi reading of the kanji for "sea hawk"; the ship is actually the KAIYO (the correct on-yomi reading). This same misreading is why the USN incorrectly referred to the JUNYO as the "HAYATAKA" during the war.

I understood the release would be for Brasil Maru - OSK cargo/passenger and her sister ship Argentina Maru.
The Argentina Maru was converted to Escort Carrier 'Kaiyo' in December 1942 . Brasil Maru was also planned to be converted but was sunk near Truk in August 1942 (Jentschura. Jung, Mickel)
Great news for those of us who model the civilian ships 'before conversion'.
Who knows - maybe we'll see a Japanese convoy (a la North Atlantic Convoy) at Telford sometime!
