Hola Domi,
Yep, time to get the seaman third class down there with his toothbrush and scrapers, most excellent work. Can't wait to see where you take it from here.

Step outside with paint,
he added a few sticks of plastic to simulate the structure and then clarify panels-style aviation.
Side the red paint in a more lively
Do you have any color reference?

Hola Domi
For someone who does not paint figurines, they are excellent! If you were used to paint figurines they would be excellent too
I really like the dirty hands on the mechanic guy (actually he looks like a good mechanic - because he is so dirty!!) and the chief is also good: no pop eyes, good clothing volume, natural colors! And they will be enhanced by the engine room and the lighting you are placing....
Congratulations Domi - esta estupendo!!!

Great work.
I only saw a couple things that as an ex-Naval engineer I noticed. I would add is some rags. No good engineer goes any place with out a rag or two. Also your welding tanks and the barrels would be restrained with chain.

While figure painting may not be your specialty, you sure don't seem to have missed anything in that pair. Great job on your crew, looking forward to the next installment.

Thank you for your wise counsel, now you wear a chain that restrains those barrels.
I have no knowledge of any ship, so help is always welcome.
I made only two dioramas with maritime theme, I will upload some images so they can see them

Hello comrades
I want to show this presentation as a sketch.
nothing is done, the boat still lacks the keel, finish painting the sides and put all crustaceans that stick to the bottom
I would like to know your opinion copper the marine vegetation, but I Do? Can cut algae high?
These balls are authentic brown algae balls, which are usually Hus herbs to make dioramas in the military, I believe that if wrapped in newspaper and covered with plaster may pass through marine rocks.
Well, I look forward to your views, ideas and tips

I forgot, I leave the rear glass with tinted crital or put a photo of a seabed authentic?
regards
Domi

Wow is all I can say. Your work is awe inspiring, soo very inspirational. And watching your progress from start to this point in time is very educational. Thanks a bunch for posting such a unique diorama.

Hola Domi
This is a good "dry run", but here are a few notes, from my understanding, all with the intention of improving the diorama:
- The Maiale should be tilted a little bit, not that much;
- The sea floor, considering that the scene is in a harbor, shouldn't have sea vegetation that big (the propellers would chop them), and on a personal side, I don't like the broad leaves ones
but it is your call;
- The rocks, could be accomplished with some gentle solvent (diluente) spraying to some bits of the Styrofoam (try it on a bit, first);
- This way I would use the real algae balls to sprinkle some parts of the styrofoam rocks and make small vegetation;
- Add some debris (old fishnets, bottles, pots, etc) on the seabed - after all that is a 1940's harbor;
- Add also some smaller rocks (I noticed them on the side) and fine sand from the beach over the plaster or mixed with the plaster(*1);
- I would tint the glass on the back too - it will give some more depth and you will allow the viewers to have a 360º view of all the work you have put in this diorama.
And to end, a challenge: if you could add some fishes (*2) (small ones, not sharks
) that would be the 5 star detail!
(*1) - if you need fine sand, I can send it to you - I have it just 5 minutes walk from my house (I say this because I don't know which island you are in and the type of sand there)
(*2) - also, if you want I can make two or three fish types and you just have to cast more copies and paint them - feel free to ask (sardine, bass, mackerel or even a small octopus?)
Saludos Domi

Rui,
Fish!?! Man that would be a great tough. I do think some trash on the bottom would be good.

Hello Rui and friends
thank you for your thoughtful comments.
will not represent a port, but rather the boat will be anchored in a bay which is why you do not have garbage and waste.
I will lower the height of the algae so long and I would put more but more retail.
Thank you for your offer sand, I will try with marble dust or pulp to represent the sand and coarse sand to put something more around the rocks.
Buy a putty to make fish, it is my duty to try to model, but if not I get well I intoaccount your offer
I forgot, the placement of only Maialen
is tentative, for the pictures and I will try to get some amphora rotates to place at the bottom
thank everyone for ideas, always helpful

Well, after a long time I return to this work.
for the moment only got a cat in the machine room, but it was not in the photos looks like a statue of plaster, it is natural to
much more realistic

Now I'm at the top of the building of the seabed, for the moment only has a noodle of modeling and rocks, we will now have to cover it with fine sand (surely two thicknesses) and give it the form of the ripples caused by water

Domi, this diorama is simply one of the most amazing ideas ever! I think that you could win awards just from the interior detail alone!
But taken in with the entire concept... wow!
