In looking at the box of figures that came with the Kongo, they show the figures in white and dark (navy) blue. How were these colors differentiated. Is one a winter /summer or is it based on rank or up north down south? I figure to populate a few ships with them and probably want to mix and match colors. I have also seen a tan color. Despite how lousy the tamiya figures are, I might get a box and tan them and place them in AA mounts and the like

Nice link gunny great detail pix, but it still doesn't answer the question as to when /why they wore white or Navy Blue shipboard. In the photos I see of the little guys on the bridge or deck s they seem to mix both as well as throw in some tan ones.

As Mark pointed out the white uniforms were for wormer weather.

As for the tan you mention that would probably be the special landing forces.

That's most probable, Jacob...
