I note Veteran's sets of 1/350 IJN details: AA gun sets, searchlights, etc.; I have some and they are great. For 1/350 DKM (Deutsche Kriegsmarine) gear like searchlights, binoculars & stands, and various other deck equipment, is there a similar source? Between Eduard and White Ensign PE sets, the AA guns are well taken care of, but there is other small gear that looks real clunky as supplied in the kits (e.g.: Tamiya 1/350 Tirpitz). Any advice would be appreciated. Stephen.

I know Tom's and Gold Medal Models does great PE sets for this kit. You can also find aftermaret gun barrels and more than likely L'Arsenal has stuff. You just have to dig a bit. Go to one of the on line hobby shop search engines type in the Tirpitz (or Bismarck) and just hit all. You'll get books, and aftermarket goodies at most of them. This might give you an iea on hat you are up against. You may end up sinking well over $300 into this if you are so inclined.
