I was thumbing thru this month's Scale Aviation Modeller..and there it was, page 536, under "New Product for June 2008", Gator's Grip Glue! The magazine is UK based, they list A2Zee models as the distributor.

And (of course!) the reviewer gives the wingie thingie variation of a Bravo Zulu to the product!

From the first paragraph:
"Now and then I come accross a product that gets me on the phone telling all my modelling friends to go out and get it."

I guess I have to get mine before he runs out!

Cheers

All I know is...it works better than anything I've used before. I don't think it will disappear...but I do think Gator will be pretty busy for awhile

Cheers,
Mike

This may be old news, but there is also a review of Gator's glue up on the IPMS site.

Kenny,
Wil you or anyone selling Gator's Glue be at the IPMS Nats next month? I have several friends going but a number of others in our local club can't go, so one of the other guys was going to pick several bottles up if it's available.

I've been using mine for about 2 years now. One super characteristic I like is ...well 2 years now and it still works. Just a drop of water occaissionaly to keep it's consistancy. How long does super glue last once you crack into it.. 6 - 9 months at best from my experience.

Thanks Kenny,

Steve, thanks for this info..this is actually the reason I have not ordered mine yet, since it will be a bit till I get to use PE. I will put my order soon then, knowing that it lasts several months... cheers

Thanks for the info Kenny (and everyone) I will be putting my order soon...

last question (for everyone); has anyone used it to glue wire, or thread? (ie, other stuff I usually use CA and make a mess?)

Haven't done a full rigging with Gators adhesive yet, just used on thread repairs only, (which turned out good), personally, James, but on metal to plastic/resin, the adhesion is good. I've also used it on .010 and .020 brass rod as the most heavy metal accessory that I've glued with it thus far... metal-to-metal, and metal to plastic/resin...not sure about rigging yet, main reason being that when I am at a complicated section of rig, I'll use both hands, my mouth, and ocassionally my wife or son's hands in the holding/glueing/accellerater CA process that's needed at times...probably will work fine, though, great stuff that it is...time will tell!
