My father served on the USS Oklahoma City, CLG-5., in Vietnam. I would love to build this for him for chistmas. Does anyone have an idea of what kit to start with? What updates/conversions would be needed to make this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could use this:

USS Albany in 1/700

I know it would be a "small" gift, but with a lot behind!
