Trumpeter called by the news desk and supplied us with an insight into their latest impending release. The kit box art is stunning.

Not my cup of tea at this time, but seeings how I've done a Nimitz, New Jersey, and a Tco and have a Nuc Big E in the wings I might possibly pick one of these up. It looks to be a nice rendering, but certainly am no expert on accuracy

It looks interesting but this looks like a computer rendering, I would like to see the actual build. New kits are always good though.

Just wanted to say "Thank You". I have been doing box art for Trumpeter Models for about 5 years now and I think that is the first time I have seen the word "stunning" associated with any of the box art I have done.
I appreciate it.

Although released by Trumpeter, the design work is by Pit-Road, so the quality will be top notch as wth their JMSDF Kongo (Japanese equivalent of Burke class). I've got the Trumpeter JMSDF Kongo and really like it- I'll definitely pick this bad boy up...

Hi Mike, Welcome to Modelshipwrights mate!
Nice to see you in our waters, my friend, and personally, I've admired your work for years (as I'm sure many others have too!)...

Thanks Mark, I am a self-taught artist so it has been a very long learning curve.

I'm very much looking forward to this release. I am particularly glad Trumpeter provided a waterline option. It seems that several of their newer release are not including this option (Kirov, Udaloy II). iamsu7, is a waterline option something Trumpeter will continue to provide?
Thanks,
Joe

I've admired Mike's art for a long time. I know he is sworn to secrecy about upcoming kits from Trumpeter but maybe once in a while he can give us a little taste about upcoming projects, like maybe some new European BB projects?
It is also great theat Gaoyue is on the net. He might be able to give the company a bit of input from us, like how bad I want a 350 scale Littorio class. A kit that is not even available in resin, nor is done in 700 scale.
