Well done Dade, IJN Destroyers were the backbone of the fleet and you have done a masterful job on the Yukikaze. That so few survived is a shame in that some of the designs were quite revolutionary for the time.

Everytime I see one fo those IJN tin cans with its name on the side I cannot help but think it says "AIM HERE!"

Jim, the name being used as an aiming point is made all the more possible by just how big the Kagero class was and how those names really jumped out. Still, those names make IJN destroyers even more endearing to me for some reason.

I did the 1945 version in January. A nice quick easy build that looks great with a little PE. I could see doing some other IJN destroyer kits of different classes if they come out like this.

Thanks again guys. I actually built this rig a while back (the 1945 version was announced but not out yet), but I've been taking new pictures with my much better camera than what I originally had. So all the new shots are exclusive to Model Shipwrights (as with the Mikasa pics I took recently for the feature/ review).
