I'm a brand new member to the forum and the modeling world, and I'm going to build the HMS Hood. My problem is that I can't seem to find a color picture of this battleships. Can you guys help me out? If anyone ever built this ship what was the colors you used? Thanks for the input. Cheers

That link sends you to Hood Dairy Products. I don't think milk was one of the colors used on the Hood.
The recommended color in the 350 scale kit is Gunze Sangyo H307 I will use Model Masters Gunship grey when I do mine

Brian, 36320, Dark Ghost Gray, is a good scale paint match out of the bottle for a 1/350 or 1/700 model. I used this color on my Trumpeter 1/350 HOOD and was very happy with the final result. 36320 is available in almost every model paint line. The "Calling all Mighty HOOD Fans" thread on Model Warships is very useful; my build pictures are on page 11 of the thread. Good Luck, Rich

Just out of curiousity, what time period was she in this particular color?
