hello all,
they moved to a private room from the ICU.i had Miss Mary sneak in my lap top so i can let you all know how everything is going on.i can only come on line late at night,if they catch me no more lap top.
thank you for all of your prayers and best wishes, this is why i have always said that MSW and Armorama is the best on-line site for modelers.
i am going to have to bow out of the community build,i am sorry but i cannot get the San Fran done in the time period.
i have asked the doc's if i can work on a model this weekend,he said it was OK,but no sharp knifes, paint thinner(it is flammable), and super glue but i can work on a model.
now some good news,it seems that the infection is gone, and my heart will be fine just a little damage from the heart attacks.i get my new knee joint Tuesday, they wanted to do it Monday.i changed it because i did not want a hung over doc doing it(Super bowl parties and all).i am trying to get Miss Mary to sneak in a pizza for the game,i hope she gets passed the nurses with it.
i am getting tired so i will sign off.
again thanks for everything
cheers,
Bruce

That's very good new indeed. I haven't been around this site long but everyone here seems to be top notch. Infections are nothing to be messed with and I'm glad its turning out okay for you. Take care and have a speedy recovery.

Hi Bruce,
SO glad to hear that things are on the upswing for you , my friend, and again, please don't stress about the the site activities, mate...it's no problem bowing out of the Community Build, and as you are healing, we can watch over your campaigns, no problem...just concentrate on your health, and you'll be outta the hospital soon and back home (where ya don't have to sneak anything!)...

Mary – Thank you for the updates! Our prayers with him, you and your families. We all wish him well and please tell him not to worry! Let US know if we can do anything for you.
Bruce – Get well shipmate, no worries! And when you get well, we will have a “speedy recovery” Group Build in your honor, a GB in which we build ships that underwent a major overhaul and went to sail a long and useful career! Cheers mate…

Good news!
Keep it calm and easy on the pizza
Modeling related you can always do some research (read) and spot what will be the difficulties on the model by checking the model parts...
We wish a continuation of a GOOD RECOVERY
Best regards to Mary and Bruce,
Rui & Alexandra

hello all,
Great Super Bowl and Great Pizza.almost got caught with the food and laptop, but was able to hide them.i like the idea about the "speedy recovery" campaign idea.the timeline could be open to any time/ship.like the Battleships damaged at Pearl Harbor or the from the Jutland Battle.it looks like it would be fun.
i think that James should be the Campaign Leader of it.
tomorrow lots of test to be sure that the infection is gone, then sizing the gap for the new joint.
Tuesday is NJ-Day(New Joint Day).i should be on the table for 4-6 hours then back to ICU for a Day.
if everything goes right,i should be home by Friday.Miss Mary tells me that the dogs really miss me.they keep looking out the windows for me.and they both sleep on my bed at night.i am going to have to vacuum the bed when i get home to remove all of the hair.i miss them alot.
cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,
Hope every thing goes well. I had to stay in the hospital a bit almost a year ago because of that "super bug", not to the extreams you had but it's good to know you beat the bug and you'll be home soon.

Excellent News Bruce!
I knew that a peg-leg member would be a problem
I am happy for you, Miss Mary and the Dogs - although I am a cat person, I understand the pet issue
Keep safe, stay calm!
Again,
Best wishes from Rui & Alexandra
