Its not really that we are missing submarines in that scale, but its nevertheless interesting that AFV ventures down this road, as AFV is known for a high quality it will propably highten the level in the scale.

I have been hoping someone would start making the WW2 German subs in 350 scale.  AFV did the Type XXI several years back and I think they are the ones that also did the TYPE XXIII, but the key ships likethe the TYPE VII's and IX's were remiss from this scale.  With the super success of the 72nd scale kit I have been hoping for some in my scale.  This will be a must have for me.  AFV is generally not too cost prohibative either.

There's a 1/350 Type VIIC coming from Revell of Germany about July.

I hope AFV puts the same amount of effort on their ship molds as their armor.. we are in for a treat then!
