Newly announced at Nurmburg 2009 - Academy have announced a 1/350 Graf Spee.
No release date as of yet.
Strange for Academy to be doing a 1/350 Graf Spee. I think this is Academy's first own-mould WW2 warship - others have been copies of other firms' products.
Anyone know any more about this forthcoming offering?

All I have heard is that they will produce the kit and all other information is TBA.
It will be interesting to see how it looks.

The box-art looks a bit Hellerish to me,but it`s another one I can`t wait for!

I thought exactly the same when I first saw the box-art. It surely looks like the Heller style. Wondering if they got their hands on the old 1/400 Heller Spee and made an upscale and retool out of it?

A good choice for breaking into 1:350 scale. This may spur efforts to get Exeter and Ajax/Achilles in 1:350 injection plastic!

Well this is one on my top 5 list. Knowing academy it is probably a pantograph of the Heller 400 kit, but that is OK, it is coming from a decent representation.

What evidence do you have of that?
