As I said elsewhere... Goodbye, Tom. You're gone but never forgotten thanks to the excellent projects you've left us with. Every one of my ship builds has used either or whole set or maybe just a piece or two of your PE, so in a way they, like so many others, are testaments to your work.

I lost my beloved mother to a sudden fight with cancer four years ago. Tom's family have my understanding, sympathies, and condolences.

Godspeed, Tom.

When I first started building ships in the early 90's, Tom's Modelworks was all I ever used, his work is every one of my completed models. Thank you Tom for making a difference in our hobby, you'll be dearly missed.

My deepest condolences to his family.

Tom's work has been a staple to our hobby for a long time, as he brought to the bench a great product, at a great price, as well as a wealth of knowledge and information... and yes, he, and his works will be sorely missed by all of us...my deepest, heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends are expressed....

Sad news indeed...

All I will say is that we have lost one of those persons that has devoted part of his life enhancing the ship models of almost everyone who makes ship models.
A great loss for the community and of course a bigger loss to the family.
My deepest condolences...

I corresponded with him many times. He helped me out considerably by making sets I could use for several models. He was truely a dedicated professinal and he will be sorely missed in this hobby.
