Hi guys i was wondering if you can point me to your favorite sites for purchasing resin ship models as i am almost finished my SS Jeremiah and will consider trying a small scale resin ship most likely 1/700 or maybe a small 1/350. Before i purchase anything i need to check each site out see what each kit comes with and what i will need to build. Thanks for your help.

Check out our website, and feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about any of our kits, or any of the other kits we stock.

Well, not exctly resin but. You might want to look at some of the 350 scale kits coming out from Hasegawa and Fujimi. Add the dedicatd PEsets for one of those and they runslighly less than a resin kit. IMHO they ae easier to work, look better, and lately I might go so far to say better detailed. I just bought into the Hasegawaa Akagi. With all the discounts and etcetera I got the kit and 3 PE kits whole package ran me $400. But the kit is huge the PE is intircate and I probably will spend months building her. You could go cheaper buying a battleship with dedicatd PE for around $250 if you search. THere is also Trumpeter stuff which has a base price for a BB or AC of around $125 and a good PE aftermarket can run an adittional $40 - 50. Take a look at the Kongo thread that Dade did on his and there is currently one running on the Akagi

take a look at pacific front web store.they have some great resin kits in both 1/700 and 1/350.
i have got a few things from them and they are both prompt and courteous.they are a little pricey but their products are top quality.

Here is another site that has 1/700 kits and several are under the limit that you have for the price of a kit.

Battlefleet Models has several excellent first time resin models.
There ATF Tug series are some of the best little resin kits I have had the pleasure to build.
