Shizuoka started cranking up and aside from the stuff we already discussed (Myoko, Nagara, etc.), IJN Yahagi has been announced from Hasegawa in 1/350... Also, Fujimi is talking about the Yamato in 1/500 (that's not a typo).
Some other stuff is being batted around, but so far, the Yahagi is the biggest ship news thus far.

Works In Progress (Yikes!)... 1/250 Otaki IJN Musashi (since 2008!)... and whatever pops up to keep me from away from the Musashi... lol

...it looks like Hasegawa is refusing to admit their screwup on the hull CAD lines, which have caused such consternation for their prior 1941 Nagato. Drat. What's with those guys? Top dollar for top quality is ok, but this is not right. Stephen.

Wow.....a MOgami and Yahagi....how wonderful. IS it any wonder I am barely surviving I can't stop buying all these blasted kits. Right now the only one I've missed is the Takao class....I only buy one of a class and no variants unless there is something major like a Hybrid carrier version. I think I would really love to see some Japanese DD's. Of course Trumpeter is pretty much keeping us amused on the European front with all their planned releases this year. Repulse, Eugen / Hipper, and Graf Spee

This is lke 2003 - 2006 when Dragon kept popping up all those magnificent 35th scale Tigers and APC's. Then came the Panzer !V's and Panthers I'm glad I was able to fill my belly on all that (I still have quite a few in the stash from that spree) And now we have the ships. Well I haven't been able to reduce the stash much, but it is nice to know that when the market drys up and lot of these go OOP I can sit back and smile while others go around begging and paying hundreds for these kits.
