Received this reply to my query regarding the availability of Model Master Marine Acrylics. They have become scarcer over the last while with my LHS unable to get any from their supplier. I had heard a rumour that the line had been discontinued so I contacted the company for confirmation.

Dear Mr. Young,

The marine line has been discontinued however we do still have some of it in stock. You can call me direct at 1-800-962-6654 ext. 4098 and i can tell you what we have left or you can e-mail me a list of the item numbers you are looking for and i can tell you what we have left.

Sincerely,

Amber @4098

Good Afternoon,

Is Testors still producing the ModelMaster Marine acrylic line of
paints? My local hobby shop is out of stock of many colours and they
can't seem to get any from their supplier either.

Thanks

Bill Young

Hello Bill,
Free Time Hobbies has a large selection of them. I do not know if they can ship to Canada.

Bill,

Yes, that is sad news. I have been getting extra bottles when ever I was lucky enough to get by a store.

When I was over at Freetime they were getting low on thier stock. They were even lower when I left.

Battlefleet also carries them, but I am not sure about his stock level.

I'm looking to color match with Vallejo Model Air and Model Color once it's gone.

Model Color is a nice replacement, Gator...although the color selection is a bit different, and limited, the paint is nice...little different than MM, but coverage is good, etc....have you tried any out yet?
