Is anyone interested in a battleship themed campaign? I was thinking any warship commissioned after 1900 that has a main armament bigger than 8 inches (battleships, battlecruisers, dreadnoughts, etc) and calling it "Big Guns". I imagine that the best time to start this would be in the June 2010 time frame but that would be up to those interested.
I would even like to open it up to any theoretical warships since very few campaigns allow any “what if” scenarios.

Oh, this is funny. I ran Big Guns II over at Armorama. I got the idea after listening to the song Big Guns by AC/DC.
So, it seems the idea has made its way to MSW.
Well, in Jan 2010 we start a carrier campaign. A cruiser campaign has been suggested and now a battleship campaign. I like the idea my self. It could be "Big Guns III: On The Sea"
I just love sequels.

What do you all think about starting 1 March 2010 and going until 1 March 2011?
Also I was thinking about opening this up to anything with a big gun to include ground artillery and inviting the guys over at Armorama. Any objections?

I'd be up for it if the IJN Fuso would count as the build. The wife's been trying to get me cut down on the spending and build my stash.

Looks like we'll have a lot of bases covered in 2010: there's already an aircraft carrier theme, and likely a cruiser, and this battleship proposal.

I'll submit it in a day or so. I want to see if anyone over at Armorama is interested first.

I'm in it. Don't know what I'll do, but as I have a pile of BB's somthing will be chosen. Just going to have to delay doing the Akagi, might do the Shokaku in January as it appears much simpler. Haven't done a campaign in a long time, other than build the kit in the time frame allotted and submit a built picture is there anything else required?
