I'm still waiting and wishing. These are for plastic kits, although even those are getting way out of my price range.

1. Pensacola class cruiser
2. West Virginia.
3. Suwanee
4. Gambier Bay or St. Lo preferably, but just an escort carrier.
5. USS Utah ( it could be a 2 in 1 kit-glory day and target ship).

I would love to see the LCI or LSM or other landing support craft, but they would be even better in 1/144 scale.

Currently, I'm most interested to get the full Japanese BB line, only a few still missing, I'm sure they will be around in the not too far future. Repulse needs her sister. And the French Dunkerque / Strasbourg have always fascinated me.

1. Hiei
2. Hyuga (before conversion)
3. Yamashiro/Fuso
4. Renown
5. Dunkerque / Strasbourg

I'd also like to see more cruisers and some more destroyers, but my main interest is top down, so I'd start with the big ones.

And while my focus is mainly WW2, I sure would love to see more ships of the earlier years, in particular the German battlecruisers of WW1.

I also work in 1/350 only.

While I'd love to see a new-tool Arizona, I don't think it's going to happen, so I'm keeping it off my list. Mine would be:

1) 350th USS Ward DD-139 (alternatively a flush-deck four piper that I could mod into Ward)
2) One of the later DE-based APD ships (Love to do APD Barr, Begor, or Bull)
3) USS Shaw (or one of the 1941-fit Mahan Class DDs that I could do as her or Cassin/Downes)
4) Bogue Class CVE
5) "Mighty Moo" CVL

Gee Tracy

A Ward and a Shaw....now there is a shocker. If I were a betting man i might actually lay down a wager that some of those Dragon future releases you are helping with might address this (LOL)

Well, it is always good to do a thread like this. So many different views of what people want.

#1. Post WWII Angled Deck Essex
#2. DDG 2 Adams Class
#3. Scharnhorst/Gneisenau
#4. Northampton Class
#5. USS Maine BB1

Yes, I can almost see Dragon working on a Ward and Shaw class. Both would be nice to see made in 350.

At this point you'd lose the bet... I don't have that much pull (No crying emoticon)

And truthfully even though I have pages on both of them I'm not sure I'd be of much help; I don't have ship's plans other than Ward's general arrangements as an APD. With the Benson/Gleaves, Gearing, ::censored::, ::censored::, and ::censored:: we started with actual shipyard plans from NARA. 1941 December details on Ward are sketchy, albeit I have a trip to the archives coming up next month where I'm going to be diving for some more Ward info.

Actually, my original 5 have not changed much:

1 - WW2 Italian BB

2 - pre-dreads

3 - WW2 auxilliary (besides liberty ships; oil tanker, hospital ship)

4 - Turn of century paddle-wheel

5 - Litoral warfare DDX-type
