Midway is on it's way to be shipped to my friend. Sara stern has been fix and I will be posting updates Monday. Just readed on awebsite she is to be used as a target.

O.K. port side aft sponson for the guns has been builted. forward starboard side swallow nest will be removed tomorrow.

swallow nest is gone . new flight has been laid down with catwalks,bridle horns,endramp,elevator bracing. post photos tonight.

Sorry Sara , never looked so good. She was docked on the same pier with my Rusty Rosie a few times at Mayport. Very nice job. I would like to try something like your paper model someday......Al

truely magnificent as usual. It looks like a plastic kit. You really detailed the island quite well. I saw some resin deck equipment at a show a few years back. I think I picked up a couple of pieces.

Thanks Blaster, that Midway i build for a friend is still my best. I'll will ask him to start posting here. resin deck equipment in 1/350 maybe too much for me. now if I had a way to get the Tamiya BigE deck equipment without paying for the whole model that would be great.
