Okay folks, so you are trying to dress up the home page. Looks nice. You have a charcoal grey main background. PURPLE or Mauve does NOT work against grey, neither does the dark blue. I simply could NOT read NEWS , FORUMS and whatever else is in dark purple..I cannot read what word is above Group Builds.....
Try White. Try Yellow, try anything but the colors you have selected for us to find and click on. Please.

Hi Ray,
I am making some changes as you noted. The issue is you have the old stylesheet cached and it needs to be refreshed. Likely this will happen at some point when it times out, but if you want to force it try hitting F5 or CTRL + F5.
Thanks,
Jim

Is it just me or is the little envelope, white for no mail yellow for new mail, missing? I see the inbox, but no envelope indicating I've got mail.

Hi Rodger,
If you have messages waiting it will show you the number of messages, etc.

I freaked when i saw it rebooted and still the same. I guessed where the forums clicker was. Have to say BOO ! I am old and my eyesight ain't what it was 30 years ago. So please modify things a bit by making the color contrast with the background and maybe increasing the size of the letters a bit for ease of reading

Yes, now I can tell something about it...
When I first saw it, things where a little "strange" (not a cache issue) with the page looking more vertical than what it used to be/is.
I like it, it has a clean look, good color balance.
Perhaps the features highlight area could also receive a dark grey background?
Also the scroll-down envelope is very neat - very Mac style
The add area between every ten posts... hmmm, don't know... it may work since it's low in height

Cheers,
Rui

Rui... huh? Are you talking about the ads in the forums? Those have been there for...err... years. I haven't changed anything in the forums. And FYI I haven't changed any font sizes either Steve. Background, header and the new photo features look is mostly it.
Thanks,
Jim

This is perhaps because we don't get long treads??? Am I loosing the eye-sight? A subliminal filter??
And now that you mentioned it, yes I remember about this implementation about four years ago (I am getting old and senile) - please ignore this comment

I like it to. A lot more cleaner look to it.
FYI: I had to delete my browser history to get it to display right. The site was almost unusable until I did that. Those having issues with colors and formating should try that.

Yes my second post in this thread clearly states that your browsers cached files need to go (or timeout) in order to get the new stylesheet and supporting files.
There shouldn't be any squinting required after that.
Jim

OK, am I still missing something? I deleted my internet cache, twice. I also restarted my computer, just in case. Here is what I'm seeing right now. For the most part the background is white. On the left is an add for Battlefleet models and ModelExpo. The center portion is basically the same as it used to be, the previous posts on this thread, buttons for Home, Group Builds, etc. I have to scroll to the right in order to see the right hand column, an add for Ebay, and adds by Google, etc. Frankly it doesn't kill me if I don't see those, but I shouldn't have to scroll to see the entire screen, should I?
