Well, $250 is about the price of an IJN battleship, so I guess it isn't too bad. Plus rememeber there will be places to get her for a lower price. It is nice to see the equipment that comes with the kit.

I am just glad I am not all that into that class of ship.

I don't know about you Jim, but the most I've spent on a IJN BB (kit only) is $135.I did spend $185 for the Akagi. $250 for the wasp???? I don't think so even with all the extra little goodies they have. Now if the kit includes a full PE set, and discounted to around $200.....I'll be the first in line

one advantage of being waaaaay behind the build list is that I can wait years for the kit to go on sale

The ship looks great. I wonder if all the detail is there...all the cigarette butts on the starboard elevator Welldeck & hanger look great. lots of room for a scratchbuild update! saw one for 168.00 so far.
